Poet; editorial director of The Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church. Kay Gabriel (CC 2013) is the current-generation Philolexian poet: three books deep before she turned thirty-five, and, since 2022, editorial director of The Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church, the chair Anne Waldman held for a decade and the room in which Ginsberg (CC '48) gave many of his New York readings. Kissing Other People or the House of Fame (Rosa, 2023), A Queen in Bucks County (Nightboat, 2022), and Perverts (Nightboat, 2025) collect her verse-essays and diaristic poems; she co-edited We Want It All: An Anthology of Radical Trans Poetics (Nightboat, 2020). She is the youngest featured Philolexian on this page. For the moment.
