Philo Awards Honor Three Prizes totaling $7O have been awarded to three Columbia students, Harry Rosenstein, Jr. '4l, James Knight '4O, and Rudolph R. von Abele '43, for their winning contributions in the recent contest sponsored by Philolexian Society, one of the oldest collegiate literary groups in the country. Rosenstein, editor of The Columbia Review and a Co-Editor of next year's Jester, received $25 for his short story "A Man and Miss Florabelle", which has been published in the Spring issue of Review. Finding that none of the essays submitted were worthy of an award, the judges recommended that the $25 originally set aside for the essay winner be given instead for the second-best short story.
