Planned Giving

A planned gift is the surest way to ensure that Philolexian remains in continuous operation, in something like its current form, for its third century and beyond.

The Philolexian Foundation accepts gifts of every kind a thoughtful donor might consider: unrestricted bequests; charitable remainder trusts; charitable lead trusts; gifts of appreciated securities; charitable IRA distributions; donor-advised-fund grants; gifts of life insurance; gifts of real property. We once accepted a pair of shoes. A really nice pair. With a lot of history. So talk with us.

To begin a conversation

Planned-giving conversations are generally most useful when started early and revisited periodically. There is never an obligation; donors who simply want to know what is possible are very welcome.

The Foundation's Treasurer responds to planned-giving inquiries personally. Communications are kept strictly confidential and shared only with the donor's counsel at the donor's express direction.
