Use of the site

You may read, copy, and share the contents of this site for personal, educational, and non-commercial use. Please attribute quotations and credit the Foundation where appropriate. The Foundation retains copyright in original text and design on the site; historical records and works by Philolexian alumni remain the property of their respective authors and estates. Donations

Donations to the Foundation are processed by Stripe. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Foundation issues an acknowledgement receipt by email at the time of the donation and a formal contemporaneous written acknowledgment for gifts of $250 or more, as required by IRS rules.

Refunds. Charitable donations are, as a rule, non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error — a duplicated charge, a wrong amount, an unauthorized use of your card — please write to us within thirty (30) days and we will refund promptly. After thirty days, refunds are at the discretion of the Foundation's Treasurer.

Recurring donations. If you set up a monthly gift, you may cancel it at any time by writing to philofoundation@gmail.com. Cancellations take effect within one billing cycle.

Merchandise and tickets. Items purchased from the Foundation's merchandise store are fulfilled by Printful; their return policy applies. Annual Dinner tickets and Bookshelf purchases are handled per the terms stated on each respective page at time of purchase.
