About College TI7 IGHTY'S Columbiad was the first to contain illustrations. IN 1873 there were 989 students in all the departments of Columbia College. THE Trustees will probably found a School of Philosophy at their next meeting. PROFESSOR R. M. SMITH testified at length before the Congressional Committee on Emigration last week. UNTIL within the last ten or twelve years, the present School of Arts was called the School of Letters and Science. THE most coveted prize of the College course used to be the Junior Greek Prize. This amounted to S3OO, but it was abolished by the Trustees in 1881.
